At Faithful Hearts, we are committed to supporting the children and families in our community, particularly those who may be facing food insecurity. Through our Grocery to Go Box initiative, we partner with Green Local Schools to provide essential groceries to students in need, ensuring that they have access to the nourishment they need, both at home and outside of school.
How It Works
The Grocery to Go Box program is a collaborative effort designed to directly support students in our local schools. We work closely with guidance counselors at Green Local Schools, who communicate with us to identify students who would benefit from additional grocery support. When a need is identified, the counselors reach out, and we prepare a box filled with nutritious, child-friendly food that can be taken home.
Our Goal
Our goal is to ensure that no student has to go without food, particularly over weekends, school breaks, or during times when they might not have access to regular meals. The Grocery to Go Box contains a variety of staple food items, including snacks, fruits, vegetables, and easy-to-prepare meals—designed to be quick, simple, and nourishing for children.
